In the fourth episode of Jewish Food Tour of Poland, Mary and Radzio are on the move again in their quest to discover the Ashkenazi flavors of modern Poland. Join them for a food tour of the Lubelski region of Poland. Explore the cities of Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny, and immerse yourself in the rich history of these Jewish communities. While in Lublin Mary and Radzio savor the famous onion bread called ‘cebularz,’ and try to solve the mystery of its Jewish roots. Also during their tour they delve into the famous and mysterious legend of Esther, a beautiful Jewish woman. She is renowned for stealing the heart of the greatest medieval king of Poland, by serving him a humble plate of onion pletzel.
