Come and explore our vibrant, well-equipped and state-of-the-art educational space. Our experienced educators are all truly enthusiastic about working with children and providing a meaningful learning experience through creative activities. During our workshops, we will introduce children to the wonderful world of Jewish culture, tradition and history.
We raise important topics while teaching children about empathy, responsibility, tolerance, and cooperation. The classes are consistent with the core curriculum for kindergarteners; we apply active learning methods by combining education with fun and creativity. Our workshops are conducted within the interactive core exhibition and at the King Matt’s Family Education Center – a fabulously colourful space made to inspire and develop children’s curiosity and creativity.
Workshops for kindergartens are available for children with disabilities.

Can a museum be an exciting place, full of surprises? Can it be explored—and truly enjoyed? Ahead of us are mysterious challenges: recognizing scents, rummaging through chests filled with treasures, deciphering signs under UV light, and much more. Let’s awaken our inner explorer and set off together on a journey through the hidden corners of our Cor Exhibition.

Secrets of books
Far, far away, beyond seven mountains and seven seas, somewhere "On the Bergamot Islands," Mr. Hilary, in his seven-league boots, searches for his misplaced glasses. Together with him and other characters from the poems of Jan Brzechwa and Julian Tuwim, we will embark on an extraordinary journey into the world of books. In the course of the workshop, we will visit an exhibition and see how a printing press works. We’ll stop by Tuwim’s favorite café and also the train station from which the "Locomotive" departs. We will explore all sorts of books and volumes and, towards the end of the workshop, we’ll create magical souvenirs.

Through images from old Opatów, we will get acquainted with their workshops. At the exhibition, we will visit a similar town and discover what could be bought at the market, we will take a peek into a Jewish home and into a colorful interior of a synagogue. We’ll solve riddles and, in the end, we’ll become craftsmen ourselves and create our own jewelry.

Thanks to short films, the youngest participants will learn what life looked like centuries ago—they’ll peek into medieval towns and marketplaces with their mix of languages and culinary traditions. They’ll also visit a synagogue. Along the way, they’ll discover the beauty of Poland’s multicultural diversity.
