In a fast-paced world filled with constant stimuli, finding a space for quiet reflection is becoming increasingly rare. But is there a place at POLIN Museum where we can escape the noise while immersing ourselves in art? Yes! A forest has grown " King Matt’s." Among its trees, you’ll spot all kinds of animals—those featured in parts of our main exhibition—the "Forest" gallery and the creatures hidden beneath the roof of the Gwoździec Synagogue.
Step into this new mini-exhibition created by Julia Konieczna. Inspired by the meaning of the word "POLIN"—Hebrew for "rest here"—the artist has designed an interactive space for children and adults alike.
It’s a place where the harmony of nature invites relaxation, creativity, and artistic exploration. Inside this cozy forest setting, you’ll find giant plush animal companions, comfortable seating, and hands-on educational materials designed by the artist.
We welcome both big and small adults—come together and enjoy a moment of creative relaxation in our woodland retreat!
