Alessia Di Donato invites you to a unique culinary journey—a masterclass on Jewish cuisine held in the beautiful space of POLIN Museum and tailored exclusively for you and—should you wish so—also for your friends!
Fania’s Culinary Lab is professionally equipped and can accommodate a group of up to 12 people. You choose the language of instruction—it can be Polish, English, or Italian! You will cook typical Jewish dishes with Alessia, but not only that—you will have a truly unique opportunity to draw from her extensive culinary experience and vast knowledge of Jewish cuisine.
Alessia Di Donato was born in Rome but she has lived and worked in Poland for 10 years now. She is a chef specializing in bread and pastry, an expert in and advocate for Jewish cuisine. She travels the world in search of Jewish flavors, revives forgotten recipes and proposes new takes on well-known dishes. Through her culinary creations, she takes others on a journey through Ashkenazi and Sephardic cuisine, with a mandatory stop in Italy.
Alessia is a graduate of prestigious culinary schools: Le Cordon Bleu, Accademia Italiana Del Pane, and Paideia—a professional pastry school in Milan, where she earned her diploma under the supervision of the world pastry champion Massimo Pica. She loves art, travel, and appreciating the good life.
