A Fight – discussion accompanying the Estranged. March ’68 and Its Aftermath exhibition
KOR [Workers’ Defence Committee], the Solidarity movement, samizdat, Tygodnik Mazowsze, Gazeta Wyborcza – the democratic opposition stemmed in large part from March ’68. What made young rebels take a risk of fighting for democracy? Why those who once used to fight hand in hand are now poles apart? Can they ever make peace? Barbara Labuda, Barbara Toruńczyk and Prof. Karol Modzelewski will participate in the meeting chaired by Paweł Smoleński.
