The Polish Righteous – Recalling Forgotten History

"The Polish Righteous – Recalling Forgotten History" is a Museum of the History of Polish Jews project dedicated to the Righteous Among the Nations – people who rescued Jews during the Holocaust, risking their own lives as well as those of their families.

The aim of the project is to document and publicize stories of rescue during the Holocaust. The project’s bilingual website features several hundred stories along with photographs and recordings of interviews with rescuers and rescued. The authors of the website make an ongoing effort to reach witnesses of past events in order to save their extraordinary stories from oblivion.

Website available in Polish and English.
