A photograph of a group of scouts from the Zionist organization HaNoar HaTzioni (The Zionist Youth) posing in front of Morskie Oko lake in the Polish Tatra mountains. The photograph is part of a collection of more than 300 collected by Marceli Najder (1914-1991) during the organisation's camps in 1932-1939, in which he participated as an instructor.In the photograph above, we can see him on the right.

HaNoar HaTzioni, which was functioning already in various European cities, was established in Poland in 1932. Its task was to prepare young people to build a Jewish state in Palestine through training for physical work, especially in the field, and education in Hebrew culture and Hebrew language. It organized training camps and courses and created publications.
