Report: The Eighth Night of Hanukkah at the Museum!

For the first time, we gathered at the Museum to celebrate Hanukkah together.

We briefly recalled the story of Hanukkah, as well as its traditions and customs and then went on to light candles on the Museum’s hanukkiyah (a special, nine-branched candelabrum). The band Micromusic played acoustic renditions of their songs, interwoven with special arrangements of traditional Hanukkah pieces. Their performance was followed by DJ Envee, who played dance music until well into the night. There was also a chance to sample delicious foods and drinks at one of our multiple stands, or even to take home souvenir photos. We are glad to have been able to spend this special evening of light and joy with you – Friends of the Museum. See you next year!
