"Jewish Varshe" platform – gold winner of the Lovie Awards!
"Jewish Warsaw" (warsze.polin.pl/en), our multimedia guide to Warsaw, was named Gold Winner of the Lovie Awards contest in the ‘Websites: Schools & Education’ category.
The platform was created by POLIN Museum in cooperation with the Huncwot creative agency.
The Lovie Awards, organized by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, is prestigious and unique among European contests. The awards are granted for the most creative and innovative work created online – websites, online advertising campaigns, ads, mobile apps and social media.
The multimedia "Jewish Warsaw" platform, created by POLIN Museum, shows the present day city existing alongside the city which is no more. Both former and current Warsaw residents talk about their city. It is the first comprehensive tool for people who wish to visit the capital of Poland and search for traces of local Jews.
The "Jewish Warsaw" platform is available free of charge, in Polish and English, together with a mobile application.
Supported by the Norway and EEA Grants funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
