Centropa is a non-governmental organization dedicated to preserving the stories of Holocaust survivors. Since 2000, Centropa has conducted some 1400 interviews with witnesses of history from 15 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The database is continually expanded. The organization also acquires scans of photographs. Transcripts of interviews are available on the organization’s website.
