From 15 until 19 November, the annual conference of the Association of European Jewish Museums (AEJM) is taking place in Warsaw. An impressive number of 120 historians, curators, directors of museums, educators and researchers connected with Jewish museums from Europe and the United States participate in the conference. The POLIN Museum co-organises this important event.

For the majority of participants, it will be the first chance to visit the core exhibition of the POLIN Museum and to discuss its concept with the exposition’s creators. The conference will include a debate on activity of the Museum from the perspective of Polish-Jewish relations and a discussion with Prof. Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Program Director of the core exhibition.

The conference has been organised by the Association of European Jewish Museums (AEJM), the POLIN Museum and the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute.
