Farewell to Mrs. Nita Hirsch – Museum Donor

The Museum of the History of Polish Jews and the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland are deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs. Nita Hirsch, philanthropist, Donor of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews – wife, mother, grandmother and beloved sister of Tad Taube – Museum of the History of Polish Jews Founding Benefactor.

For 50 years, Mrs. Hirsch, a Survivor of the Holocaust, worked as a volunteer for the charitable organization Women’s American ORT. She had been struggling with Alzheimer’s disease for the last five years. She passed surrounded by her family and loved ones.
