Part 3: Virtual tour of POLIN Museum Core Exhibition

  • November 3, 2024, 2 PM EDT / 11 AM PDT / 8 PM CET, REGISTER →
  • Hosted by Marta Eichelberger-Jankowska

This autumn, the POLIN Museum is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Join us for a special virtual tour of its Core Exhibition, a journey through 1,000 years of the history of Polish Jews—from the Middle Ages to today. During this hybrid tour, you’ll find answers to questions such as: How did Jews come to Poland? How did Poland become the center of the Jewish Diaspora and home to the largest Jewish community in the world? How did it cease to be one, and how is Jewish life being revived today?

Marta Eichelberger-Jankowska is a guide for Jewish Warsaw at the Taube Center Foundation and an educator at the POLIN Museum. She holds an MA in Experiential Education and Jewish Cultural Arts from George Washington University and a BA in Hebrew and Jewish Studies from University College London. Marta has extensive experience in Holocaust education. In the United States, she worked as an educator at the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education and served as a senior historian intern at the Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
