Second Congress of Jewish Art in Poland

Scholars from Europe, Israel, the United States and Poland will come together in June for a unique three-day event – the Second Congress of Jewish Art in Poland.

"Art in Jewish Society" will be this year’s conference theme. Papers will therefore focus not only on the work of artists but also on public reception of their art as well as the role of art in the life of the Jewish community in Central and Eastern Europe. Elected presentations will be devoted to the history of Jewish museums and collections.

The Congress is organized jointly by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews and the Polish Institute of World Art
