Rosh Hashanah: the Jewish New Year

To celebrate Rosh Hashanah, we invite children aged 6-14 and their parents for a special tour of the core exhibition.

We will explore the Jewish calendar as well as ancient and modern customs related to Jewish holidays. We will learn why the Jewish year starts in autumn and discover the origins of the traditional dishes – fish, the round challah and apples with honey – served during this holiday.
