Jewish Warsaw - exhibitions
We invite you to a meeting which will sum up the “Warszawa, Warsze” exhibition depicting the pre-war Jewish community of Warsaw. The meeting will be an opportunity to see the exhibition – the last curator’s guided tour will take place at 17.00 hrs – and to discuss the exhibition and artistic initiatives connected with Warsaw’s Jewish heritage.
During the meeting, you will have an opportunity to talk to the “Warszawa, Warsze” exhibition curator Ewa Małkowska-Bieniek; Rafał Betlejewski, a semi-theatrical artist, performer and author of social events such as “I miss you, Jew”; and Krystyna Piotrowska, a visual and graphic artist, author of films and installations and the initiator of the “Próżna Project.”
The meeting will be led by Katarzyna Nowakowska-Sito, an art history PhD, museum professional and acting deputy Director for Exhibitions and Museum Collections at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
We would also like to invite you to the last curator’s guided tour of the “Warszawa, Warsze” exhibition on 30 June at 17.00 hrs.
The admission is free of charge, the meeting will be translated into English.
