We'll be featuring recipes from our "Friends of POLIN" in a category called, "Cooking with Friends of POLIN." We'll also meet up with some POLIN employees to explore the Polish Jewish food genre in a category called, "Polish Jewish Flavors."

We'll be starting in New York and paying a visit to the kitchen of Irene Pletka, one of POLIN Museum's Distinguished Benefactors. She will be teaming up with Jeffrey Yoskowitz, co-owner of The Gefilteria , and will be preparing kasha varnishkes as it was made in Lublin, Poland. Then join the Marysia's (Mary Seidler and Marysia Ostrowska) of Warsaw, as they share how to make traditional rugelach and potato kugel.
