Children’s Day at Matt’s Kingdom
We invite children with their guardians for a unique, fairy-tale like family picnic. This year, Children’s Day celebrations will accompany the exhibition addressed to our youngest audience In King Matt’s Poland. 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence.

On that day, we are going to organize a great tournament in King Matt’s Kingdom. All Matt’s friends are in for exciting challenges, such as solving riddles at the exhibition, finding their way in the labyrinth, overcoming obstacles that require great stamina and agility at the Ropes Challenge Course, DIY, sewing and painting. The winners will receive prizes!
There will be yummy and healthy snacks, and many more surprises. We have also organized a special BABY ZONE - a multi-sensory play zone that fosters child development. We encourage you to join us on this adventure! THE ADMISSION IS FREE .
The celebrations will conclude with a special event - a premiere of the piece for an orchestra and a children choir inspired by the novel King Matt the First by Janusz Korczak. The music was written by Jerzy Rogiewicz (Jerz Igor, Marcin Masecki Jazz Trio et al), and the lyrics by Grzegorz Uzdański. The piece will be performed by pupils from the Oskar Kolberg State Music School in Warsaw. There will be an interpreter into Polish Sign Language and into Ukrainian available at the info point. The tickets for the concert are SOLD OUT.
The concert is co-financed from the Fund to Promote Culture managed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, as part of the program “Composers’ Commissions” realized by the Institute of Music and Dance.
