  1. POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews with its registered office in Warsaw (NIP [Taxpayer Identification Number]: 525-23-47-728), as the owner and Administrator of the websites: www.polin.pl, www.sztetl.org.pl, www.sprawiedliwi.org.pl, www.judaika.polin.pl, www.warsze.polin.pl (hereinafter: Websites) provides the following information on the application and use of cookie files on the Website.
     
  2. The Websites do not automatically collect any information, except for information contained in cookie files. The information collected automatically is not used to make automated decisions resulting in obligations on the part of the User.
     
  3. Cookie files are IT data, in particular text files which are stored on the Websites User's end device and are intended for using the Websites. Cookies contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the end device and a unique number.
     
  4. The entity placing cookie files on the Websites User's end device and gaining access to them is the Websites administrator.

    1. adjust the content of the Websites to the User's preferences and to optimise the use of websites; in particular, these files enable recognition the Websites User’s device and appropriately display the given website tailored to the user’s individual needs;

  8. In many cases, the software used for browsing websites (web browser) allows the storage of cookie files in the User's end device by default. Website Users can change cookie files settings at any time. In particular, these settings can be changed in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookie files in the web browser's settings or else to inform about their every posting on the Website User's device.   9. Websites Administrator informs that restrictions on the use of cookie files may affect some of the functionalities available on the Websites.
