The core exhibition – explore it as you like
The exhibition "1000 Years of the History of Polish Jews" is the centrepiece of POLIN Museum. We invite you to embark upon a journey from the Middle Ages to the present. You will find out when Jews first arrived in Poland and where they came from. How did Poland become – and how it ceased to be – home to the world's biggest Jewish community? How is Jewish life beginning to flourish in Poland once again? We demonstrate that the history of Polish Jews is an integral part of Polish history, and the history of Jews would never be complete without its Polish chapter.
Exploring the entire exhibition in great detail may be a challenging task the first time around, which is why it is worth to revisit the Museum every now and then. One may explore the core exhibition in many different ways, so that each single visit is a unique experience in its own right. Please select the preferred mode of exploration below.
